I want to meet other solo artists

I am getting back into music after raising a family. I've been building a repertoire and rehearsing in a post office lobby after hours for the past ten months, and am eager to get out infront of an audience.
I've learned some things in the last ten months which I believe can be of some help to others. I would like to share those experiences, and benefit from others'. If you are a guitar/vocal solo act or duo, please chime in. This web site seems relatively new. I have yet find a site on the internet that meets the requirements of a solo artist. Maybe this will be it.
